We have a small update for you:

  1. Yesterday we moved our site to a new provider. We were having issues with the last one, which was unreasonably slow and unstable. We may of lost a some site data in the transition as it was quite quick, if so please notify us. Our new host has a quicker response and using this site should give you a feel for the difference in speed over the old one.

  2. After some time talking with Phoenix, we decided to ask him to help us set up our next service:, based around hosting and support. We have more information to come soon...
But for now, we welcome Phoenix to our team, please catch him on the forum or on IRC.
  3. We have started adding videos to help new users in how to use Fusion Ticket.

Best Regards,
From the whole team, Chris, Niels, Lou and Phoenix.

About Fusion Ticket

What is Fusion Ticket?

Fusion Ticket is an Open Source Box Office and Ticketing Solution.
The aim is to create a usable and complete box office solution aimed at charities and small venues that don't have the extreme budget or the need for a full box office solution, whilst maintaining full functionality and large customisabilty and feature set.

Who is it for?

Any one really. But the main aim is for small charities and theater groups. For the most part its unrealistic for these small organizations to take the hit of using a professional ticket sales companies, who take a set up fee and commission of each ticket sold.
The software is used regularly by all types of people just look at our links page.

Although there is no restrictions on who can use it, we don't recommend it for really big events (stadium size) at this time. Allthough in the future we are confident we will be expanding the software to make it easier to manage.

Why should I donate?

"Anything given away for free, has no value"
Although we try to maintain this software for as little as possible, we have working lives and other items that need doing.
By donating we can spend time on this project and not on others.
We can spend time supporting members and producing plug-ins and additional features instead of the bare minimum. Also there are 1000's of hours of work and knowledge thrown in so you can use it at our expense.

Think about it like this. For a firm to do the same for you, the system would start in the region of £1500 ($2250) plus additional maintenance cost. Of course you get warranty and support, but then we aim to answer your requests for support and for free. So really with out donations support and quick releases would be near impossible. So $50 for a program where you can make money from is very little to ask, is it not?

How can I help?

Make a donation of any sum of money, this gets us towards our next release and our goal.
When you donates at-least $50, you gets a donaror status so others know you have helped this project. And gets access to pre release material and gain additional support for the life of that version number.

Can we contribute more than just money?

If you have good PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript or MySQL knowledge you'll be very welcome to help. Or if you can't program helping other users use the software, as everyones skills differ. Any time spend explaining something is time spent away from bug fixing or feature improvements. And you can spend time helping find bugs and making suggestions to improve usability and functionality.
